Millennium@EDU SUSTAINABLE EDUCATION

Arab@EDU INITIATIVE

Arab@EDU is a Millennium@EDU SUSTAINABLE EDUCATION INITIATIVE for ARAB COUNTRIES  aiming to promote the use of Information, Communication and Scientific Technologies (ICSTs) in education under comprehensive sustainable education projects.

The main objective of Arab@EDU INITIATIVE is to develop a specific Sustainable@EDU POLICY FRAMEWORK ARCHITECTURE aligned with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Arab League Member States.

The Arab@EDU INITIATIVE is based on the development of Millennium@EDU Sustainable Education Projects in Arab Countries and on the establishment of Strategic Partnerships (SGDs-G17) with Arab relevant institutions, such as ITU Arab Regional Office, AICTO and ALECSO.

COUNTRY COOPERATION APPROACH

The Arab@EDU INITIATIVE priority is to develop Projects in the Arab Countries in partnership with national entities.

With this aim we had developed a Model MoU which covers several activities to be implemented under this cooperation.

Millennium@EDU Sustainable Education has already developed Projects in Egypt and in Morocco and it is now working with the appropriate partners to develop Projects in Tunisia and in Palestine.
