Virtual Educa Secretary General

For 38 years [October 1st, 1977 – May 1st, 2016] Mr. Anton was a senior Government of Spain official A1/26. After retirement, he continues holding the position of Virtual Educa Secretary General. The Virtual Educa initiative was established in 2001 by the Organization of American States (OAS), to promote innovation in Education. Since January 1st, 2017 it became the Virtual Educa Global Alliance, also supported by the UN Development Program (SDGF) and the World Bank.
Mr. Anton university background includes a BA degree in Linguistics and Compared Literature [Barcelona University, Spain] and a MA degree in Latin America Studies [Sorbonne University, France]. His PhD studies were conducted at the Complutense University [Spain]. In 2011 he was awarded a honoris causa PhD by the ULADECH University [Peru].
