EdTech programs expert

Julia Firestone is an EdTech programs expert focused on developing educational interventions to serve marginalized populations globally. She currently manages partnerships and research to coordinate and evaluate the pilot phase of the Global Education Platform, an initiative of the Global Business Coalition for Education which was first conceived of by UN Special Envoy for Global Education Gordon Brown. In her previous role as Director of Operations with Impact Network, Julia worked with an international team to develop, implement, and monitor the eSchool 360 model. Initially serving as a consultant on the ground in Zambia, Julia managed the roll out of technology across 7 schools, before joining the executive team in the New York office. Julia has a master’s degree in International Educational Development from Teachers College of Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree from Hampshire College.
