Computadores para Educar

Fernando Bedoya, Chief Executive Officer – CFO of “Computadores para Educar” is an Electronic Engineer with a post-graduate degree on Project Management and Negotiation. He has worked within the public sector in areas such as health, housing, education and ICT policy. Since 2014 and up to April 2015, he served as an Advisor to the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies on issues such as infrastructure deployment, development of ICT appropriation programs, closing regional and national projects and establishing results.
As CFO of the program “Computadores para Educar”, Since May 2015, he has contributed to social equality by delivering ICT tools and training to students and teachers across the municipalities of the Country in order to transform the learning and teaching methodology in classrooms. This is done together with the promotion of a social responsibility strategy, and by fomenting the reuse of obsolete computing equipment. Likewise, he has broadened the social mission of the entity promoting internationalization, regional alliances and in coordination with different entities and projects promoting using and acknowledging ICTs.
His experience served well during the creation of the ICT policy called: “Plan Vive Digital para la Gente – 2014/2018” due to his knowledge in subjects such as connectivity, promotion and technologies appropriation.
