Millennium@EDU SUSTAINABLE EDUCATION
Arab@EDU is a Millennium@EDU SUSTAINABLE EDUCATION INITIATIVE for ARAB COUNTRIES aiming to promote the use of Information, Communication and Scientific Technologies (ICSTs) in education under comprehensive sustainable education projects.
The main objective of Arab@EDU INITIATIVE is to develop a specific Sustainable@EDU POLICY FRAMEWORK ARCHITECTURE aligned with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the Arab League Member States.
The Arab@EDU INITIATIVE is based on the development of Millennium@EDU Sustainable Education Projects in Arab Countries and on the establishment of Strategic Partnerships (SGDs-G17) with Arab relevant institutions, such as ITU Arab Regional Office, AICTO and ALECSO.
COUNTRY COOPERATION APPROACH
The Arab@EDU INITIATIVE priority is to develop Projects in the Arab Countries in partnership with national entities.
With this aim we had developed a Model MoU which covers several activities to be implemented under this cooperation.
ARAB STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS
Millennium@EDU Sustainable Education has established Strategic Partnerships with the most relevant Arab Organizations to align its work with the Arab Agenda and Priorities.
The establishment of partnerships with AICTO – Arab Information and Communication Technology Organization and with ALECSO – The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization frame substantially the Millennium@EDU Sustainable Education strategy and operation within the Arab Countries.
ITU Arab Regional Office has launched the Smart Learning Initiative where Millennium@EDU Sustainable Education participates actively and which is the main platform for the development of a comprehensive strategy to promote the use of technologies in education in the Arab Region.
