Guinean citizen, born in St. Petersburg (1981). He has done primary and secondary studies in Guinea-Bissau. He holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Sociology from the Higher Institute of Labor and Business Sciences (ISCTE), in Portugal. He has been conducting research, training and social intervention projects in the fields of education, youth and culture, in addition. He was a professor at the Foundation of Faith and Cooperation, at the Catholic University and Jean Piaget University of Guinea-Bissau, as well as director of the SOS-Bissau Children’s Villages Program. Member of the Citizen Action Movement (MAC). In June 2019 he was appointed Guinea-Bissau Minister of National Education and Higher Education.
