Dr. Jan Michael Uy is a Sr. Business Development Manager at Microsoft for the WW Education Devices team and leads key global education device initiatives. His key priorities include working with school leaders to deliver solutions that drive better student learning outcomes and enabling the Microsoft Device Solution Specialist community to be subject matter experts and trusted advisors in their respective fields. Jan is a strategic leader focused on enabling others’ success through his expertise in delivering scalable, repeatable, and sustainable education initiatives and efforts, and he has a deep passion to drive increased education opportunities and learning outcomes for students.

He has been with Microsoft for 9 years and has over 10 years of education, sales, marketing, and project management experiences and recently completed his PhD in management and published a book focused on driving better student learning outcomes through 1:1 device initiatives. Apart from his career, Jan’s personal passion is serving in his community each week in teaching students on weekends and travels to third world countries each year focused on empowering children and students with the skillsets and personal growth needed to be successful in their lives. As he looks to evolve his role in the coming months toward a Learning Delivery Manager position, his focus will center on helping schools worldwide move toward the modern classroom through key education transformation efforts.
