Kim Kerr is responsible for the management and oversight of programs in Education and Learning at the Foundation, including key initiatives such as the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program and the Partnership to Strengthen Innovation and Practice in Secondary Education. Kim has more than 25 years of experience designing and developing programs and engaging in policy issues in education, focused on improving access, quality and relevance of education at primary, secondary and higher education levels. Prior to joining the Foundation, Kim worked as an international development and education consultant with organizations such as UNICEF. Kim served as Technical Team Leader for Save the Children Canada and supported Save the Children’s Rewrite the Future Campaign to provide quality education for young people in conflict affected countries. Kim holds a Master of Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE).
