Mr. Sudhir Bhatnagar, CEO-SARD

“Sudhir Bhatnagar is the General Secretary of the Board of Directors of SARD. He is one of the founding members to have set up this NGO in 1996. During his tenure, SARD has scaled new heights and has been able to mobilize support from multiple agencies including some renowned Business Houses for spearheading their CSR Programs. He has been conferred several prestigious awards for his contributions in the field of Health and Nutrition, Child protection, Education, ICT, water and sanitation and microfinance. The most recent ones are Diwan Mehta award for NGO leadership in Maharashtra where we developed a model of convergence, Ameri Care Award at Mumbai, the Chief Minister (Mukhyamantri Shiksha Diksha) Award and micro finance award in Haryana. The organization field offices also got many awards in the field of child protection, trafficking, eliminating child labour, declared many villages as child marriage free, etc. by local administration and state govt.  Under his leadership, recently SARD became one of the world and India largest DIB (Development Impact Bond) grant on Education for ensuring learning level outcome in India.

Mr. Bhatnagar has represented SARD in many states, national and International forum. He is a professional member of many bodies like State Resource Centre, University of Jamia Milia Islamia, Central Institute of Education in technology (CIET)- NCERT, State Council of Education Research and Training, Global alliance for Immunisation, Indian Red Cross and St. John Ambulance and the Committee on Routine Immunization and Mission Indradhanush in Uttar Pradesh, network of Integrated Child Protection Schems officials in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. He has written several paper, approach and abstract paper on different theme and presented in many international forums supported by UNESCO, Oxfam International, International AIDS Conference, ICBL, CIfal, Partage and many leading corporations, etc.
